One of the outstanding accomplishments for ASTD Sacramento was the development of a well thought out 5 Year Strategic Plan. One the 2010 major goals for the current president is to work the plan and grow membership. The chapter will continue its support for corporate and consultant professionals, and launch a major effort at recruiting membership in the government and nonprofit sectors. ASTD Sacramento consistently sends board members to participate and/or present at the annual ALC and ICE conference and brings current trends, new support services, and improved chapter operations back to implement locally.
