Providing engaging training and facilitation is based on each of us developing our ability to ”think on our feet” to the best of our ability. This is a rare opportunity to develop these valuable skills with a workplace focus. Sign up today to be more confident in the classroom tomorrow!

Is your organization facing change? Are you asked to provide training to deal with that change? The modern corporate environment is one of changing priorities and goals within a fluid and dynamic workforce. Teams are coming together and breaking apart at an ever-increasing pace, and people are expected to always look for new options and opportunities. In recent years, many talent development professionals have realized that the skills developed and used by people working in improvisational theater are among the strongest and are very similar to the necessary skills in the TD field. In this session, trainers and facilitators can dive into this huge array of exercises and games used by improvisers to expand and enrich their repertoire of experiential learning and review activities.

You will gain the skills to facilitate activities that enhance communication, inspire action, develop listening skills, and increase many other areas of focus.

Application to the workplace:

During this session you will:
  • Learn the basic principles used in improvisational theater and how these relate to principles in the modern business environment.
  • Be able to incorporate a selection of the simple exercises from improvisation within a team building or other organizational development context.
